1. Select the installation location:

Roots blowers should be installed in bright, dust-free buildings, away from direct sunlight and rain.

If it must be installed outdoors, necessary rain and explosion protection measures should be taken, and special attention should be paid to the safety protection of the motor and V-belt.

The installation site should be spacious, easy to disassemble, assemble and inspect daily, while ensuring good ventilation.

2. Prepare the basics:

The foundation should be made of concrete, fully considering the weight of the blower and the pressure resistance of the foundation, to ensure that the foundation has sufficient compression area and load-bearing capacity.

The concrete foundation should be left with ample reserved holes for the installation of anchor bolts, and the surface of the foundation should be as level as possible.

3. Install the fan:

Place the fan on the foundation, use inclined iron to adjust the levelness of the fuselage, and the tolerance should be within the specified range (such as within 0.2mm/1m).

Install anchor bolts, pour cement mortar, and tighten the anchor bolts and nuts after the cement hardens to ensure that the fan is stable.

4. Connecting pipes:

Before connecting the pipeline, check whether the pipe is clean and free of foreign objects.

Elastic joints should be used for pipe connections to reduce the impact of pipe vibration and thermal deformation on the fan.

Make sure that the weight of all pipes, valves, mufflers is not directly applied to the fan.

5. Install other accessories:

According to the environmental conditions, the air inlet of the fan can be equipped with a filter, and pay attention to the selection of the ventilation surface to avoid increasing the resistance.

To reduce noise, it should be equipped with a muffler and installed at the end of the air inlet duct or outlet duct.

6. Electrical connection and commissioning:

Ensure that the electrical connections of the wind turbine are correct and comply with electrical safety regulations.

Install step-down start cabinets, soft starts, and other devices to protect fans and motors from the impact of direct start.

Carry out test operation to check whether the fan is running smoothly and whether there is any abnormal sound and vibration.
