How It Works

The ZBK roots vacuum pump operates through a motor-driven triangular pulley system that rotates the active rotor. This, in turn, drives the driven rotor via synchronous gears, ensuring the two rotors maintain a precise 0.4 mm clearance. The rotors and pump body maintain a 0.25 mm clearance, optimizing performance. During operation, the continuous separation of the rotors at the bottom of the pump cavity causes volume expansion for suction, while their continuous engagement at the top causes volume contraction for exhaust. This creates a vacuum on the suction side and connects the exhaust side to the atmosphere, achieving efficient vacuum generation. Additionally, the pump body's outlet features a sound attenuation box for stable pressure and improved sealing, enhancing overall efficiency.
